FRIGHT NIGHT: First Trailer Revealed
For Nightmare On Elm Street Remake

Dukes of Hazzard. Miami Vice. Fame. In the last few years 80's remakes have become their own kind of horror movie. Now director Michael Bay has released the first trailer to his revamp of A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, and unlike his nightmarish Transformer movies that left fans in cold sweats, this revamp of an 80's icon might just be a dream come true.

Quick to show fans all the staples are back, including those haunting skipping girls, the trailer brings Freddy Krueger back to life in more ways then one. Played by Jackie Earle Haley, who nailed Rorschach in Watchmen, it fleshes out Freddy's origin straight away, and reveals the villain's controversial new face.

  2. The original movie worked because the movie was entirely new and fitted into a period of time when slashers were king.

Hopefully the movie has enough going for it that it can raise it's head above the standard happy Hollywood flicks of today.

  3. Hey Jono!

Yeah I'm hopin it works too, the original NOES is the only film after watching I was literally never able to sleep after.

That was years ago of course!
