Irredeemable Vol.2 In Stores Today

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse,
The rifles were hung by the chimney with care,
In the fears the Plutonian would soon be there.

Christmas may be a time of peace on earth and good will to all men, but not for the folks of Irredeemable. There in the pages of BOOM! Studios runaway hit, their greatest superhuman saviour - the Plutonian - has gone rogue and it seams nothing and no-one is safe from his hatred. Sleep is broken, and every sound in a silent night rings like an alarm-bell, as people and entire cities ask 'Who will be next?'.

If you are lookin' for a book where you don't know what is going to happen on any given page - Irredeemable, has that in spades. Writer Mark Waid must constantly cackle at the power he has writing the tale of a 'superman gone evil' - unhindered by editorial hands.

The first trade paperback from earlier this year, has to be one of my most re-read books of 09. Now the clock has finally ticked round, and the second TPB hits stands today, making it the perfect stocking-stuffer for this festive season. Checkout the preview pages below for a hint of what's instore!
