  • Forward, back, back, button - yip, Warner Bros has green-lit a Mortal Kombat reboot, hiring writer Oren Uziel to keep the new movie from becoming yet another box-office fatality. More...

  • Actress Kate Mara says her small role in Iron Man 2 is not Stark's ex-girlfriend Bethany Cabe. My money turns to Janet Van Dyne, aka The Wasp, as a segue to Marvel's highly-anticipated Avengers movie. Jump

  • Image Comics mega-hit The Walking Dead took it's biggest zombie-staggered step toward live-action this week, with AMC ordering a pilot for the TV series, co-produced by comic writer/creator Robert Kirkman, and pilot writer/director Frank Darabont (Shawshank Redemption). Mmmm Tasty.

  • The intro for the new Black Panther cartoon has pounced onto the net, with a strong John Romita Jnr artistic influence, that also triggers more than it's fair share of nostalgia from the old Marvel cartoons. Among the voices; Stan Lee as General Wallace, JB Blanc as The Black Knight and Batroc, plus soul singer Jill Scott as Storm.
