Four shots of news to round out the week that was, assembled right here when it comes to THE CRUNCH.
  • Marvel sure are taking their time introducing Marvel Man into the Marvel world aren't they? Well IGN have a theory the controversial UK hero has been in plain sight for a while now, and after SEIGE #2, they could well be right... Jump

  • Talking about the 'secondary character' back-up features recently announced for upcoming DC DVD animated releases, Alan Burnett let slip to the Comics Continuim the third 10 minute feature will star Green Arrow. However he remained tight-lipped on the recipient of the fourth back-up, one that will be a massive 22 minutes long. Jump

  • Tim Robbins, the actor best known for finding redemption in Shawshank Prison, has signed on to the cast of Green Lantern. In the movie Robbins will play Senator Hammond, the disapproving father of the movie's villain, Dr. Hector Hammond.

  • Finally, Bill Murray has confirmed his role in the upcoming Ghostbusters sequel, telling The Mail "I’ll come back in Ghostbusters III only if I get to be a ghost. I said to them, ‘I’ll do it if you kill me off in the first reel." Which, is actually a pretty cool idea. Read the full interview after the jump

  1. Sentry is Marvelman?!?!?! I think I'd have to shoot myself. I love Miracleman but HATE Sentry.

The sad part is that this sounds really plausible.

    The Irredeemable Shag

  2. Hey Shag - yip I'm in the same boat on that one. I've never really got the Sentry in the Marvel U, but then that just gives the theory more legs!

Will be interesting seeing how it all shakes down.
