MARVEL'S GORILLA TACTICS, LEX LUTHOR STICKS WITH FANTA And More When It Comes To THE CRUNCH

3 shots of news from the week that was - that's THE CRUNCH.

SHOT 1: Guns, Girls, Gorillas - the craziness of comics gets turned up to 11 in July's Gorilla-Man 3 issue mini-series from Marvel. Making matters even better, the cover is by Dave 100 Bullets Johnson. Get the lowdown on the super-simian solo after the jump.

SHOT 2: Batman Arkham Asylum rewrote the book on comic-to-console games. Now DC Direct are topping it off, with figures based on the beat 'em up's batfolk-interpretations, including (fingers crossed) the Joker's favourite little heartbreaker, Harley Quinn. Jump

SHOT 3: Being a sucker for seeing karma pay off, news that Paul Cornell - the guy who busted a gut monthly to bring Marvel readers the late, great Captain Britain and MI13 - will take over DC's flagship Action Comics in July, is just to cool for words.

So here's the issues Lex Luthor cover by David Finch (Still wielding an orange ring?) to say the rest. More after the jump.
