Jessica Rabbit by Jose Carlo G. Mendoza, aka dArt's; aramismarron
Today is my birthday, so while I'm out making the most of the remaining seconds of youth I have, here's a post dedicated to a character outside of comics I've always had a soft spot for, Jessica Rabbit (from the highly underrated Who Framed Roger Rabbit?), and the man whose art skills did her proud; Jose Carlo G. Mendoza.
While the portfolio of this 25 year old artist from Laguna, in the Philippines is predominately based on portraits of celebrities old and new, he still brings his amazing talents and beyond lifelike pencil work to quiet a few fictional characters. The stars of Aspen Comics, Star Wars, the cast of the X-Men movies, and... well, see for yourself...
Once you are free of the Black Cat's stare, check out more amazing renderings at Jose's deviantART page, after the jump.
You and me both Dan. I think every guy has a thing for her.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that Jimmy - yip we were talking about Jessica in the weekend. Seems she's more popular than I first thought!
ReplyDeleteStill it's left me thinking it's been too long since I sat through WFRR? Might have to fix that this week.
Thanks for the post!
Um, hubba hubba!
