Here's one 'making of' snippet I thought was pretty nifty – the logo design. Creating a retro masthead, that is as well suited to representing Sgt. Rock as it is to Wonder Woman is a tough brief, but designer Rian Hughes, as you can see below, came up with more than one serious contender.

I loved the WC collected edition! I only wish there had been a way to produce a cheaper version that I could give as gifts to kids--at $50 a pop, I can only afford one for myself. :)

If they did a WC 2, I'd love to see Jonah Hex, Sugar & Spike, Plastic Man, House of Mystery...a little more genre variety.
