Every Sunday, Making A Mark features one of the insanely talented artistic folk currently living up large, and gives them a little brag spot right here on IADW. This week it's Marc Laming, a UK based illustrator whose talent with ink, leads to some fast and fancy line-work, in an amazing array of images!

It wasn't the full image of ol' Spidey above that got my senses tingling, but rather Marc's take on one of my top pulp-hero creations - Adam Strange. The man of two worlds, a fitting icon of Marc's online galleries, as he seamlessly nails characters from both sides of the DC/Marvel divide. Get a taste of what I mean - click through to the next page!

Kraven Attacks - Hey, Spidey actually looks like Spidey - young, and over his head in trouble!

Black Canary - DC's scream queen gets a few practise notes in

And of course the Adam Strange number itself - Strange Days

Got more of a Marc Laming artistic itch to scratch? Roll over to his online gallery for more more ink and wash goodness, after the jump.
