CRUNCH: Mark Ruffalo has stated when it comes to playing Hulk in The Avengers “I’m really excited. No one’s ever played the Hulk exactly, they’ve always done CGI. They’re going to do the Avatar stop-action, stop-motion capture. So I’ll actually play the Hulk. That’ll be fun.” Your dam right it will be. Jump

CRUNCH: Remember that massive DC Universe Online trailer a wee way back? Well Tim Miller and Jim Lee sat down to do a directors cut of the all or nothing smack-down and revealed some pretty sweet behind the scenes info. Did you spot Poison Ivy the first time round?

  1. Dan, that DC "Secret Wars" kinda showdown CGI video is one of the coolest things you've ever had on your blog. that was so fun to watch!

  2. Yeah I think it rocks the Casbah too David.

The link is active to the original vid without the directors yakking in the article but if folks missed it you can see it at

  3. It's always extremely dramatic when the good guys are getting their asses handed to them. It's like the exact opposite of the typical superhero storyline in which they always seem to find a way to save the day. Cool animation!

  4. Thanks Ranman! It's cool too just to see the heroes unleashed... I mean wow Wonder Woman was ripping through them there!

Nice icon, and welcome to IADW!

  5. DC is really pushing their characters with more anime movies & games..I wonder why Marvel is not competing them in terms of anime movies if Marvel make an Iron Fist & Immortal Weapons anime or even game it should raise the bar for Marvel's characters.

  6. You've got a good point IFF! I'd also like to see the Marvel Cosmic heroes take to the animated format too - then you could really take the brakes off and not have to worry about budget!
