I was just getting ready to email you with a heads' up on this. Not sure why I even questioned that you'd find it too. I like what I see. And you even got your shield-throw flying at the screen to close out the trailer.
Oh heck yeah!!!!! He threw the shield! Yay!!!!!!!
well the trailer was cool but i'm just still so uncertain about the movie it's self. i kinda wish is was taking place in a more contemporary setting but of course i understand why they did it during the WW II era. but i must say they did a good job of making Chris Evans look like a whimp.
I like what I see too Craig, and I am 110% wrapped they kept it set in WWII (sorry Dave). As a Cap fan (so much so my Mother made a toll call just to say the trailer was on the web if I didn't already know) that whole period speaks so much on Caps values it wouldn't match if he was a regular joe today who got drafted against the current wars in the middle east.Didn't realize my anticipation to see the Shield thrown was so infamous heheh thanks guys!
Yeah, between the 3 or 4 blogs I think we've all had the "shield throw at the end of the trailer" conversation more than once. Somebody important was obviously listening to you.
i hear yeah Dan but that doesn't mean some kind of Captain America today going over to the Middle East to kick some terrorist/dictatorship ass wouldn't be pretty sweet too.by the way, you check your bleedn email yet today mate?
I'm actually glad they're leaving him in WWII. For once they're not messing with the original story. How the heck did that happen?
Marvel's production company now. Don't have to deal with Sony or Fox studios trying to "improve" a story that already kicks enough ass that they fought for the movie rights in the first place.I'm hoping Marvel cares enough about its own franchise that they not frakk up the mythology too much. Sony had a good thing going with Sam Raimi. He was a comic fan, even more a die hard Spidey fan. That's what you need at the helm, not some up-and-coming music video director who's never even heard of Jean Grey, the Punisher, or Ghost Rider trying to make his mark in the industry.
Exactly Craig. I really don't get how artistic license can tweak whats not broken but Hollywood types sure like doing it. Still sealing shut the mouth of the Merc with a Mouth kinda takes the cake.
