WONDER WOMAN MEETS MS MARVEL? Is Marvel vs DC II On The Way?

It's been one of those meetings fans have drooled over for years - Wonder Woman and Ms. Marvel. Then today this slips onto the net and the drool speeds into overdrive, fueled by what seems to be the always fantastic artwork of Jim Cheung.

No official word yet, but at least now I can prepare myself to have to part with my beer money if need be in future... poor beer. It's been nice knowing you.

  3. on this one i don't think i'll be needing a wing man but thanks Craig. but on a more serious note another Marvel / DC cross over would be awesome. but this time i wanna see Superman and Gladiator throw down.

  4. Yeah that's what I would hope for too this time guys - more odd mix ups then the same old same old. Nightwing and Spider-man would be cool.... Donna Troy and Jean Grey.... the options are endless.

  5. I love Jim Cheung's art. Every one he draws get that melancolic/serious look.
Everything I read where he was the artist, only gained by his presence.

  6. Poor Craig, Dave's always asking for a wing man, until two hot chicks are involved, then he drops you like a hot potato. It' a great picture, and yeah, I'd love to see that team up. They always do the overpowered guy team ups. I'd like to see this one.

  7. Completely agree Aliera! Infact I have a Jim centric post set for next month going over just that.

Random I think you missed the vital ingredient that saw Craig dropped - two woman and a lasso... while that sounds like a sitcom coming soon to a channel near you it is amazing what the added incentives can do!

  8. Thanks for the sympathy Random, but Dan's right. I'm a bit of a wet blanket, I'd just hold Dave back. Plus, once those two got done beating the hell out of me, once Mrs. D found out, there'd be a second ass-kicking waiting for me when I got home.

  9. Well...that's true. Probably best all around if Dave leaves you home on that one. Although he's probably going to have some rope burns himself. I think it's about time we had a super hero sitcom. Just imagine what would happen when the Joker came by to borrow a cup of sugar...

  10. My guess is that this is going to be the cover for that DC/Marvel Crossover Omnibus that DC just announced the other day. A few weeks ago on Word Balloon, Bendis said that he didn't think a new crossover seemed at all possible, and I didn't get the impression that he was joking or playing coy. If there is one in the works then he doesn't have a clue, and I would think he would be pretty heavily involved if they were doing one.

  11. Thanks for that heads up Marc... an Omnibus would be awesome - especially if it shoved together all the old ones like Superman/Spiderman, Batman/Hulk...

Who would be the creative team I wonder if the worlds did collide? Run with Ivan Reis and Jonathan Hickman but my minds still stuck on Random's idea of the Joker borrowing a cup of sugar... Guess that depends on whose door he's knocking on? Wild Dog's may give a different answer to Wonder Woman's... maybe...
