MUGSHOT: The REAL Dynamic Duo You Will Want To See In The Dark Knight Rises

With just one Batman movie left for Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight-o-verse, it doesn't look likely Robin is going to get a look in, let alone Nightwing. But there's another tag-team combo that audiences will sadly have to pass on this time round, and what do you know, they have fan art too;

The meek and shy Arnold Wesker is by far one of the more interesting bat-rouges out there (and that's saying something)! As the Ventriloquist, his crimes committed through Scarface - his Al Capone based, tommy gun sporting puppet - always makes you wonder exactly who is the real dummy. Think of how that'd work in Nolan's hands!

While I take a pew and wait for this pair to get their call-up, you can see more of Bats and the Arkham crazies, both in 2D and 3D renders by artist Bryan Wynia, right after the jump.

  1. this character always used to crack me up in the Batman cartoons. i love the way the puppet used to insult the ventriloquist by calling him a dummy. that would have been fun to be the voice actor for "Mr. Scarface".

  2. I reckon Dave - although The Riddler's always been my favourite bat-rouge, Scarface's lines cracked me up too.
    Thanks for the comments!

  3. I'm with both of you. I'd love to see someone play him on the screen. He was one of my favorites in the Animated series too. Top spot for me would have to go to Freeze though....Animated Series version, not Arnie's.

  4. Arnie's Mr Freeze - brrrr - Arnie in the bat-verse had such awesome potential - why did they give him the role of a guy whose character is built around a fragile heart?

    Killer Croc, Man-Bat, Bane - these are roles for Arnie!
