COVER SHOTS: The Best From DC Comics' November 2011 Solicitations

DC Comics' November solicitations are out and not only can you scope out their Vertigo and all ages titles, they are the last chance for you to scope out which titles of the DC 52 look like the horses you're going to place your moolah on, before it's time to race. Of all the books at the starter's gate, these four take prime position;

COVER OF THE MONTH: J.G JONES - FRANKENSTEIN AGENT OF SHADE #3 If this cover had some retro captions on it, it would be everything I love about the medium in one shot. An outcast hero, massive odds, and imagination in large doses. Franky ol' chum, consider yourself pulled.

CLOSE CONTENDERS: Andy Kubert - T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents #1 (of 6), Neal Adams - Batman: Odyssey Vol2 #2 (Batman riding a harnessed bat, chased by a man on a dinosaur?! Gotta love comics!), and Guillem March - The Huntress #2.

  1. Great Huntress cover!

  2. Frankenstein's monster as the main character? I'd pull this in a heartbeat. Where's the LCS when you need one?

  3. Thanks guys!

    Yeah Craig - Grant Morrison dusted Frankenstein off in Seven Soldiers and hopefully this series keeps him chugging down the same path. I know what you mean though, sometimes I think even if a LCS was next door it would be to far away!
