Twice a week, Making A Mark gives an insanely talented artist some IADW brag-space. Today goes to Erik Von Lehmann, an American illustrator whose work is so powerful I thought I'd stumbled into a shared Marvel/DC hard-drive, full of unreleased promo material. Mind you, if you've already jumped ahead to check out ol' Erik Magnus below, you probably already know that feeling well.
Yeah, Magneto should never be a hero - he is just far to sweet as an anti-hero threat for that. In Erik's gallery, Mags shows his bucket headed face almost as much as Batman and Spider-Man, yet never once does the guy stumble at the hurdle. Just check these out;
Witchblade close to pulling a 'Poison Ivy' is a show stopper. Still, it has to be a massive stage for Batman not to steal the spotlight. Every time Erik touches the Dark Knight, magic happens. Trust me - each and every piece is enough to send you Arkham level crazy - DC have to track this guy down!
While Erik lists Superman as his pick of cartoon characters, you could never tell. His bold striking imagery take down the meanest targets - be they hero like Daredevil or villain like Mr Freeze! Not only that, Erik's X-Men gallery also captures the Making A Markist comparison character so well, there's only one way I could display Psylocke - big!
After you've finished drooling over one of the best weapons in the Marvel arsenal, you can find Erik waiting for the talent scouts, right after the jump.
