Don't you hate it when your comic reading mind just doesn't switch off? Watching a series of trailers about new and upcoming movies I was treated to the trailer of Haywire. A spy blockbuster, where in amongst all the action, one woman with a strong build manages to kick butt and still become a regal room stopper when the danger-level eases off.
dude! she's awesome she would make a great Wonder Woman along with some other heroines. that movie looks pretty good too. it seems like it has more going for it then a typical action flick. what a great caste especially (Bill Paxton, Michael Fassbender, Ewan McGregor, and Antoinio Bandeiras)! it's nice to see Michael Douglas working again i know he's been through a lot lately with his health.
ReplyDeletethats what I thought Dave. Pretty big cast alright. Fassbender and McGregor? cant go wrong there!
ReplyDeletewell, you would think! these days with movies however you can never be too sure.
ReplyDeleteIt looks awesome...only thing. Why waste McGregor as the bad guy? *Sigh* Ah well, she does seem to fit the bill for our favorite Princess, now if she can just back it up with actual acting...
ReplyDeleteHaha I'm with you Random, I did think McGregor was a soft cast as a villain - still know knows tat might make him even scarier... it worked for Robin Williams.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments!
it is a crime that Hollywood can't get it's act together enough to make a Wonder Woman movie. If they put Cameron or that guy who did 300 in the director's seat and used the classic Perez run as the basis for the script it would be epic.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with that!
DeleteYou'd think Wonder Woman was a sure fire pick wouldn't you Pensol. She's already a global name, so it has built in audience numbers already, and as you say 300 and other films of late have proven mythology always goes down well.
ReplyDeleteAdd in mixing that with the real world like Diana does and it seems it's a hit just waiting to happen.
