MAKING A MARK: Sam R Kennedy - The Dude Setting Hal Jordan And Alien Up For Round 2

Twice a week, Making A Mark gives an insanely talented artist some IADW brag-space. Today goes to Sam R Kennedy, an American talent-hogger who proves there is no franchise on earth his artistic powers can't perfect - starting with the Thundercats!

Sam's renditions of the 'Cats are so stunning they could easily be promotional pieces for the gangs next toy line or multi-media blitz. And if Lion-O is mad now, just wait till he finds out Hawkman's had a similar symbol for years!

I'm pretty sure this lightning rod of a lassie is Power Girl. Sure the costume's been tweaked and her shoes have gone AWOL, but the Justice Society's princess of power sure looks stubborn enough to beat down whoever's casting those bolts her way - including Mother Nature herself! Those colours are truly something.

I know, Sam's made a movie poster worthy image right there huh? The original Green Lantern vs Alien comic book crossover was sweet enough, but now G.L's world has expanded off the amazing work of Geoff Johns, it has to be time for a rematch. Can you imagine Atrocitus taking on these acid tongued terrors?

  1. G-damn that's kick-ass! Especially the GL vs. Aliens pic. I'd love to see that one too!

  2. Hey mate! Glad you liked Sam's star-studded showcases as much as I did. What do you reckon? If Aliens vs GL did get the green light, John Stewart would be the man to save the day?
