LEE BERMEJO! The Ultimate Batman, Wolverine And Daredevil Back Tattoo

In modern comic art, illustrator Lee Bermejo's bold, unique and 'realistic' takes on everyone from Rouge to Lex Luthor have made for the ultimate in artistic eye-candy, and on darker subjects like The Joker, he's downright scary.

Still if there's one thing being an individualistic artist nets you, it's boat loads of fans. Fans who are such strong supporters of your work, they ink their body with art bearing your likeness. Take a look at one fan's tattoo, featured on skin-art Facebook page Tattoo Friends, featuring the Bermejo-style Dark Knights of Batman, Wolverine and Daredevil.

Now that's a level of needlepoint artistry that has to drive you Arkham level insane, if you're not the patient type - but boy what a result! If anything's going to give back-stabbers second thought, it'd be this.

  1. I'm so impressed!
That guy must have spent an eternity on the tattooer's table but THAT is a work of art! Amazing!

  2. It is pretty sweet Aliera - and no doubt gets more and more fans each time he's at the beach! Like you say the detail is crazy, and who doesn't like those three guys?

impressive work plus only a real true fan love of bats wolverine and daredevil would make some one go through the craziness and pain of getting a piece of art like that .

  4. Hey Demoncat - welcome to IADW! You know, I agree completely! You should see some other pieces in the gallery featuring The Crow and Dark Tower for example. A lot more ink - a lot more pain!

    Thanks for the comments!

Now there be some serious ink me hearties! Not sure I'd have the nerve to go through with all that, think I'll just go with the WW logo on one shoulder.

  6. Well it went straight to the number one most read post of the week Pensol (I didn't think those Cosplay posts were ever going to slip!) so I think there might be one of two folks out there who've now got the idea germinating as we speak.

Me, I'm with you. Less is more at least where my patience is concerned! The pain wouldn't matter to me as much as the fact I'm the original 'Are we there yet?' kid!

    Thanks for the comments!

  8. It sure is Mr.S - when I first saw it I thought that has to be a photoshop - but no, some tattoo artists are just that talented.
