ONE MARVEL FAN - And His Crazy Cool Wrap-Around Marvel Leg Tattoo

If you are a comics fan who feels 'Marvel Zombies' don't have a leg to stand on, watch how incorrect that stance can be. Abel, an ultra-skilled skin-art professional from the shores of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil has within his gallery, this complete leg tattoo, filled with Marvel heroes.

Click to enlarge and you will see, redrawing Jim Lee's Captain America, Adi Granov's Iron Man, Gabriele del'Otto's Silver Surfer and more, is hard enough with just a pad and a pen, let alone encircling an entire 3D canvas with your efforts.

What do you think?  To see the other works in Abel's portfolio visit his profile after the jump.

  1. Not big on the leg art, but this work is outstanding. I love the panel-style layout and the colors. If I ever went forward with some tats, I've got my ideas now.

  2. 'Outstanding' - And I thought I was the guy with all the puns Craig! You're right though, I don't think I'd ever consider getting a leg tatt, but this here multi-character job sure made a great deal out of it!

  3. I've always wanted a comic book tattoo and was leaning toward a leg tattoo as well but have though about also making what's left on my right arm a partial comic sleeve. Not sure I like his layout though, but the idea is there.

  4. Nice one Mr.S! I've always wanted a comic book tatt too. I'm not sure who I'd run with though. I change my mind pretty much every time I go to sit down. One moment it's Magneto or Daredevil, next it's Adam Strange.

If you do get one done - flip through a picture if you 'd like. I'm always stoked to post great skin-art on IADW!
