MAKING A MARK: Klingatron - The Spray Paint Artist Who Has Got Marvel Framed

Twice a week, Making A Mark gives an insanely talented artist some IADW brag-space. Today goes to 'Klingatron', a Glasgow based artist who forms part of the current Alter Ego exhibition at Red Bull Studios, London. A man whose melted Marvel heroes and villains threaten to do the same to your corneas, just through sheer wickedness alone.

Sure Rouge's as eye-catching as ever, but just look at that Doctor Doom! I'm a bit of a Doom nazi on whether artists nail Marvel's numero uno despot right, and here, Klingatron passes with dripping colours!

Hulk is a born natural for the Klingatron way, while Venom's piece will no doubt send gallery attendees home to Google the story behind such a fantastic looking threat! As curator of the Alter Ego exhibition, Klingatron's use of spray paint vs dark backgrounds is out of this world. The one I'd take home? This one right here...

I love the 'underdog' picks in any range, and the fact Rhino is a classic Spidey rouge just makes his selection even sweeter.
