  1. Thanks for the link, Dan, I'd not got round to seeing that. It'll be interesting to see how they make the hood work on TV, given how obvious it is that it'll knacker Oliver's peripheral vision.

    STARling City, eh ...

  2. Thanks for that Martin - yeah I caught that one too. Was surprised Black Canary didn't get a flick in but I'm sure there will be another between here and there.

  3. This show does look pretty damn good. Typical executive logic to shorten the name from GA to Arrow. Fucking stupid! But it does look like it'd bee good. We'll see huh?

  4. I don't mind the name shortening although I'm not sure I want to see GA take the "Batman" route. Ah well--at least we have something that passes for a supr hero on TV.

  5. Thanks Dale and BVP! I just like the fact they are keeping the 'hero for the everyman' angle that the New DC 52 Green Arrow bizarrely stepped away from, almost it seems to be more like Marvel's current flagship flyer, Iron Man.

Which I guess makes an interesting question - will movies and TV through their summaries of the characters, eventually become the places most inline with how fans see the characters? Avengers, Arrow and Dark Knight are pretty positive signs.

  6. I guess there's room for both interpretations, but call me a traditionalist, but I like GA just the way he was before the terrible new52 reboot.
