FANTASTIC FOUREVER: The Life-Size Thing Jack-o-Lantern You Won't Forget

With a ghost like woman, a man who can distort his body and a literal human torch, few superteams are better equipped for the Halloween spirit than the Fantastic Four. But what of the Thing? The quartet's most popular member and his brick skinned demeanour already makes Aunt Petunia's ever-lovin' blue eyed boy a fancy dress favourite, but what if all those bricks were actually pumpkins? Well then you'd have this;

Now that my friends is the sign of a creative mind! 11 pumpkins were harmed in the making of this 6'4 high neighbourhood landmark, but vegetables have rarely been put to better use. To give your kudos to 'Wizardtig' - the man behind the pics - and see the making of construction shots, click the jump.

    The Fantastic Four is my all-time favourite superteam of all time [the LSH is second] and I know plenty of fans who would go ape at Halloween over this. Certainly a lot of hard work has gone into this. When you think about it, the Thing's orange scales/rock fits perfectly with pumpkings!

  4. inspirational it sure is Aliera, now if they could only do something with one onion, three carrots and half a lettuce, it might be something more translatable to my current vege drawer :)
