MIDDLE-EARTH'S MIGHTIEST HEROES The Avengers Lord Of The Rings Style

Alright so The Avengers bested Loki - of course they did. Thor did it alone in his own film! But what if  Earth's Mightiest became Middle-Earth's Mightiest, and the fellowship ditched Jarvis (who is kind of a Frodo of sorts), and took up a Lord of The Rings setting, with Sauron type style? Well you'd have these works by Malasian artist Daniel Kamarudin - and even Gandulf may not be able to stop your eyes exploding at their sight;

Is it me or does Nick Fury look very suited to the 'Pimp My Avenger Mordor Style' theme? If it was the original Nick Fury it would be even priceless-er (hey it's my site, I can invent words)!

And no, before you ask, I'm not stopping at just Cap and Fury. Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Hulk, Thor and Loki are all right here on IADW, just after this simple jump.

 What do you think?  I say, that's a crossover worth making happen! To see more of Daniel's stunning work, just click the jump!

  4. Its a completely different take isnt it folks - even Thor looks different. My personal favs are Hawkeye and Fury. Hawkeye is just so radical it makes me long to see an archer wraith like character.

    Thanks all!

    Looks very good, but I wouldnt call it Lord of the Rings.
    It´s pretty much inspired by the Guild Wars 2 art.

  7. Thanks Zomg! Hawkeye still steals the show for me but Loki looks a mass as threat for sure - nice pick! I wonder if he'll do the JLA next?

    Anon, that's a good call - either way it looks like comics and fantasy can be friends with some pretty decent results to match!
