MAKING A MARK: Eric W. Meador - The Pencil Comic Collage Master

Making A Mark gives an insanely talented artist some IADW brag-space. Today goes to Eric W. Meador and his collages. No wait, before you yawn over that 'c' word, you need to check this guy out. His shading, level of control and detail is unbelievable. Just look at his JSA;

Can you believe this guy? Captain Marvel to Hourman, Spectre to Liberty Belle, all DC's finest are in their, yet not cramped, racing to defend the stars and stripes as only the Justice Society can.

With Thor's poster (you are clicking to enlarge these to save eye-strain aren't you?) Eric steps it up a notch, upping the character count, detail and composition! This really does look as interwoven as a norse tapestry or cultural marking may seem. Just in time for Thor: The Dark World to hit cinemas, don't be surprised if people start chasing prints if this one.

Now if you were going to go bigger than Thor who could you use? Oh yeah, Batman.

Now that's one I would proudly hang on my wall! Crikey I think there are even characters in there i'd almost forgotten about!

 What do you think?  Let me know below, or to see Eric's full gallery and give him a round of applause for yourself click the jump!
