COMICS GIVE YOU SQUARE EYES: Valiant Debuts Fully Animated Covers With Unity #1

Comic cover gimmicks - take them to the limits already set and then break them. That seems to be Valiant's motto. First they offered the X-O Manowar cover that spoke to you, now they are gearing up for November's debut of a comic cover that offers a free animated vid of it's origins, opened via your personal QR device.

Created by CineFix's 8-Bit Cinema team, the 8-Bit styled video will be unlocked from a variant cover to the high-profile Unity #1. Featuring Harbinger's Toyo Harada, Livewire, Ninjak and the Eternal Warrior teaming up to reign in X-O Manowar, you can experience the debut of new yet retro styled comic cover tech early, simply by clicking play below.

  1. OMG! I love this Dan! Plus the 8-bit homage video to Super Mario is truly "Sweet as!"
Such a sucker for vintage stuff like this, so go Valiant for being this cool and imaginative. This is what you have to do in order to compete with the same old formulaic corporate drivel of the big two.

Thanks for posting the vid 'cause it sure as hell made the kid in me very happy:)

  2. No worries Dale, glad you got the buzz out of it I did. It's nice when publishers can still shock you with something novel and fresh isn't it? Right now, that's Valiant! Look for more on them this week.
