Mondays. They are worse than Dr Doom and after a heavy one, it can be a little hard to get the drum pumping again for the week ahead. As a former DJ, each Monday I dig into my collection, and chuck up a hit nodding to comics' best.
This week, it's Suicide with Ghost Rider. Vocalist Alan Vega's favourite comic, the band name is even taken from a G.R. tale entitled 'Satan Suicide'. This song itself was also later covered by both the Rollins Band and R.E.M.
"Ghost Rider motorcycle hero,
Bebebebebebebe he's a-screaming the truth,
America, America is killing its youth."

Yay! I actually know this one Dan! It's a good song even if it doesn't quite fit Ghost Rider's character.
ReplyDeleteThanks for highlighting this one though. Can't wait to see what next monday brings us.
Hey Dale - glad this one was already a familiar tune! It is a bit more Pokemon than Spirit of Vengeance huh? But still good, none the less!
ReplyDeleteNext week it's Vertigo's turn (ghost noises) Spooky!
