WHEN SEAGAL MET TAKEI: True Justice Trailer Brings Icons Together

We all know what a 'Steven Seagal movie night' means and also what a classic Star Trek marathon means. Usually wishing we had picture-in-picture TV, because the chances where we can kick back, grab a pizza and do either so rarely represent themselves, we really need to multi-task as much as possible to make up for lost time. Not any more.

Voltage Pictures has released a trailer for recent Redbox release; True Justice - Dark Vengeance. Not only does this episode star Seagal, it brings him on screen with Star Trek's own George Takei, as Elijah Kane (Seagal) leads a hardened team into confrontation with a ‘Black Magic’ practicing killer, and enlists Tanaka, (Takei) a criminologist and advisor on ‘Dark Arts,’ Chen (Tzi Ma) to help him.

With thoughts of a copycat killer looming, the Seattle based plot draws on the different cultures and beliefs of the city, to give the two icons their depth. Says Takei of his experiences “I’m playing a forensic (scientist) and on the morgue set, the make-up was so realistic on the ‘dead people,’ I was really shocked when they sat up!”

 What do you think?
