BURN OF THE JEDI: Grandfather Builds Death Star Fire Pit

Proving I'm not the only thing in this world that looks better with the lights off, here is a Death Star fire pit, made by an 84 year old grandfather for his grandkids. For Christmas no less!

Built by welding the end of two propane tanks together (which have been known to go 'Boom!' just like a Death Star on the odd occasion), lets hope the youngsters were just as impressed as I am, or Gramps may start on building the real thing!

 What do you think?

  2. That's pretty impresive mate! And like you it was one of my favourite scenes from A New Hope too. You really gave the lasers that 'Star Wars neon' look!

Hope you are having a great start to the new year.
