Splash pages, you gotta love 'em. A blank canvas where the artist can hit you with a large dose of illustrated 'wow'. This week, Mega City One by artist Dave Taylor. And what do you know, for a futuristic city in comics, it actually looks like one.
So many times it seems in modern comics, cities of the future end up looking like modern day Metropolis, but Dave sure hits that notion right out of the park here.
2000AD and it's Judge Dredd world are all about grungy overpopulated tech, and you find that here right from the turn of the page.
