THE COMICS' BEAT: Doctor Doom in MF Doom's 'Doomsday'

The rapper known as MF Doom took a name inspired by the Marvel villian after his brother’s death and incorporated the metal mask of Dr. Doom while on stage and in many of his videos.

While he has wrapped under many names, under MF Doom, he also took part in a collaboration with Danger Mouse known as 'Danger Doom'.

Today's track showcases his love of Doctor Doom in the video, his mask and teams up with the smooth lyrics of Sade. Sade and Doctor Doom? Now there's a team-up no-one saw coming!

 What do you think?

  2. As long as it doesn't inspire Fox to make Fantastic Four the musical Random, I say let them rap ;)

    1. Oh, but imagine the laughter, the tears... the earthquake as the Thing soft shoes his way through Yancy street. Don't tell me you wouldn't watch that.

    2. Okay you got me there. Just as long as Torch doesn't sing 'Burning Down The House' or Adele's 'Set Fire To The Rain', I'll be good.

I knew of his love for Doom, just didn't know it was his brother's death that sealed it for him.
    Cool backstory.
And fuck yeah, very few can come close to matching Sade in the vocal department, Dayum.
