BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL! Happy Holidays From IADW!

This picture defines holidays to me for many reasons. One is that living in New Zealand, Christmas is hot - beaches, cold drinks and BBQs - so a picture of Superman with a snowman doesn't cut it.

And while as a child, I devoured the cool cartoon series this doctored image is taken from (a series now in full on Netflix yuss!), Christmas Day was a sure-fire day that as a kid, I was either going to get a Masters of the Universe toy or a Transformer.

Hopefully, over the next few days, we can remember how magic the holidays were as a kid, and the role our pop-culture heroes played in making that happen.

With the current popularity of comic movies, kids and kids at heart all over the world will still excitedly unwrap a new Captain America or Optimus Prime toy this week, or even better donate one to kids in need of a little escapisim.

So here's to the great moment's comic heroes bring to our lives, by inspiring us to be, and creating moments that are straight-up, good for goodness sake.
